Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO of Sahaviriya Steel Industries PLC or SSI together with the management team attended the inauguration of the Office Building 2, Bangsphan Steel Plant and they also planted the blessing trees around the new office building on 12 July 2023. The Office Building 2 has been designed and supervised on construction by SSI Building Technology Operating Unit (BDT). The building structure was constructed by using special grade steels from SSI Steel Plant and production and construction technology of BDT has been directly applied. It has been designed by taking into consideration the energy usage reduction and other factors affecting the environmental impact. This building features ventilators to ventilate heat in order to reduce usage of fans and air-conditioning system. Front part of the building been designed to expose to the sunlight only in the morning. There are awnings but the light can be accessible to internal part of the building. Some rooms are not required to use electricity during day time at all. SSI Building Technology Operating Unit (BDT) engages in the design business of building structure with state-of-the-art software, and skills on production, installation and building inspection works with strict quality control on transforming standard parts of the building.
