Mr. Lertyos Yamprai, Chief Bangsaphan District, presided over the 2022 SSI Group Ruam Pattana Festival which was held under the concept of “Bangsaphan Booming, Bangsaphan Sustainability with BCG Model”. During this festival, the summary on business operations and community development pursuant to BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) Model, the results from sustainability operations of SSI Group had been presented. There were also BCG talk show, presentation ceremony of Sahaviriya Ruam Pattana Fund for Quality of Education, Fund for Support of Bangsaphan Hospital, exhibitions from the communities and the schools in areas that SSI Group jointly developed with the communities, including booths selling the community products, “Go Half and Half (or pay half and SSI Group will pay the other half) activity, plogging activity, and live music. There were more than 700 people attended this festival which included the community leaders, Bangsaphan local people, network partner organizations, management and employees of SSI Group. This festival was held at the meeting hall, Mae Rumphueng Sub-strict Administration Organization, Bangsaphan District, Prachuab Khirikhan Province.
Objectives of this festival were to 1) display the works on sustainability of SSI Group and the works of the networks in the areas, 1) communicate the social responsibility activities of SSI Group to the stakeholder groups, and 3) serve as platform to exchange knowledge on operation in accordance with BCG Model and sustainable development guidelines in the future.
